The thermal insulation of external masonry of a building structure or residence is nowadays one of the most important actions for its completion or its upgrading.
Under the current trend on the energy savings for heating and cooling of the interior, the exterior insulation contributes greatly to this. Gives to the building or to the residence the characterization of “energy friendly” while adding this commercial goodwill. Protects walls from direct fthuorogenic effects of the external environment enhances the aesthetics of the building and helps to create comfortable and healthy microclimate indoors of the building or the residence.
The Durostick has studied, designed, certified by the European Standards ETAG 004 integrated system external insulation of buildings and residences (External Thermal Insulation System (ETICS)) under the name “THERMOSEAL” with certification number EOTA:ETA-13/0006 and EOTA:ETA-13/0007.
The practice of THERMOSEAL as a whole or as a part of masonry building or residence provides that all the benefits of External Thermal Insulation System (ETICS) that mentioned above, even in a higher grade than most comfortable systems in the Greek and European market as the system registered in Class 1 in measurements made in the laboratories of BVFS in Germany. Systems certified accordingly, does not exceed the 10% of those available in Greek and European markets.
The THERMOSEAL has studied and has also measured by the Group of Building Environmental Studies Department of Applied Physics of the Physics Department of the University of Athens in the four climatic zones of Greece.
